Off Road Races Held in Istanbul İSOFF Challenge Huma Auto Trial Championship The competitors, who will start as a team in the Trial races, will eventually try to reach the finish line by passing the stages as a team. The first of the Huma Auto Trial Championship, which is organized in 2 stages on 14-15 June and 13-14 September, is organized with races to be held on October 19 and the second on November 30 on average. In this Trial tournament format, which was successfully organized with the Istanbul Off Road Club, the sponsors were off road accessory manufacturers and other 4×4 lovers this year, as every year. 2 races a year are organized by ISOFF in Istanbul. Trial Championship The 1st race is organized through İSOFF in Kemerburgaz Çiftalan. The scoring system in the cup is based on 1 coefficient. In the Trial cup, which is the pioneer of the off road spirit with its own Trial rules, 7 teams are formed with an average of 14 vehicles, depending on the situation, and the competition starts. Trial Cup as a result of the two stages passed In the 2nd race, it ends with a score over a coefficient of 1.2. As the final organization, Emirhan Kutlu, Adnan Ofluoğlu pilots and Co-pilot Ahmet Yurtseven lifted the trophy in the previous years in the Trial Championship.

Turkey’s Largest Off Road Track

Off road tracks are created and races are organized in places like Şile, Kemerburgaz, Arnavutköy, Çilingöz, which are located outside and north of the central regions in Istanbul, mountainous, rugged or intertwined with nature. Apart from this, there are suitable lands that can be used in off road trips. Istanbul is one of the most important cities where all kinds of sports are done. However, Turkey’s off road is applied more easily in other provinces other than Istanbul, as the urbanization is less and the land is more widespread. There are many provinces with large lands.

There is an off road track of 43 thousand square meters in Saruhanlı District of Merkezefendi district of Denizli. It is both the largest and the longest off-road track in Turkey. This track, which has a brand value both for our country and for the province of Denizli, must first be promoted by starting local races. Then this off road track can even host national competitions. This off road track is built on 50 acres of land and has a 1800 meters long track.

Other Off Road Tracks

The aim of the Turkish off road championship is to overcome the difficulties and various obstacles on the roads that are not open to traffic. These championships can be easily organized in all provinces of Anatolia. Çambaşı plateau, located at an altitude of 2 thousand in Kabadüz district of Ordu province, is also used as an off road race track. The difference between the runways in Istanbul and other provinces is that this place becomes operational with the snow thickness of around 2 meters. Off road races held on snow challenge the racers more than races held in mud.

Special stages can be created in the Taşlık regions by the river in Sakarya province and can be designed as a difficult track for off road enthusiasts. Off road races are held in the Kapicam promenade area, which is 15 kilometers away in Kahramanmaraş.

Off road races are also organized in the Black Sea region, mainly in Fatsa district of Ordu, Artvin Murgul, Rize Ardeşen and Samsun Vezirköprü. In addition, in the province of Tokat, it is planned to build a track that can be used as a race track in the future. Track works for off-road races continue in the area that is unsuitable for agriculture within the borders of Güryıldız town close to the airport. In general, the structure of each track in each country is different. The difficulty level and size of the track varies.
