İSOFF Challenge 2021 , known as Kenan Collissanturk, a member of Istanbul Offroad Club and champion driver, who passed away in February this year, witnessed exciting scenes and experienced emotional moments. Ali Gökhan Yazıcı-Alparslan Yüksel competed with Kenan Collissanturk’s old race car in the off-road race, in which 24 teams started, and Salih Clissanturk, the son of Clissanturk, was among the participants.
4×4 off road vehicles as well as 4×2 Buggy and SUV vehicles started the race, which was run in a collective take-off and elimination method on the 4.7 km long dirt-weighted off road race track. Regardless of their vehicle classification, the teams lined up according to the time they obtained from the qualifying laps and started at the same time. In the off road race, where the teams that recorded the best times in the qualifying rounds advanced to the next round, the first qualifying rounds were 10 laps, the 2nd round. The qualifiers were run as 8 rounds, the semi-finals 6 rounds and the final 6 rounds.
Turkish Automobile Sports Federation President Eren Üçlertoprağı , Sporting Director Murat Kaya , Sportive Committee Member Metin Yılmaz and Disciplinary Committee Member Attorney Berk Batur were among the people watching the race.
Ali Gökhan Yazıcı-Alparslan Yüksel , who competed with Mitsubishi Pajero, lifted the trophy for the first place, while Burak Ayvaz-Semih Noyan , who competed with DeToro, lifted the trophy for the second place. The third place in the race was the son of the late Kenan Collissanturk, Salih Collissanturk and Mert Becce . It was an emotional moment for everyone to give the third place trophy to the team by Fatma Collissanturk, mother of Salih Collissanturk.
