Organized by the Heroes Offroad Club (KAROFF) on November 30-December 01, 2019 Turkey Offroad Championship 6th Leg Race resulted in the winner of the Kenan Özsoy-Harun Değnek team. Competing with Nissan Navara on behalf of the EVL Garage team, Özsoy-Değnek team also became the 4th winner of the class and completed the 2019 season with the championship.
With the sponsorship of Alpedo and the contributions of Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality, the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Kahramanmaraş from the enemy occupation. The first national offroad race, which was held as part of the anniversary events, was left behind with a successful organization. At the end of the race, which was held under the intense interest and support of the local people for 2 days, the Mitsubishi L200 racer on behalf of the Bantboru Offroad Team. İlayda Hancı Korkut and Batuhan Korkut won the second place and the first place in Class 3. third place in the general classification, competing with the Mitsubishi L200. Ergün Çirkin- Bekir Sami Başkal team from ANDOFF Offroad Team won. Mehmet Baki Arpasatan-Muhammed Emin Başel team that competed with Suzuki Vitara in Class 1 achieved the victory, while Suzuki Samurai and Nihat Keskin-Yasemin Biber Toker team won the first place in Class 2.
In the race, which also gave points to the Mediterranean Offroad Cup, Erkan Karakaş-Remzi Yırtici won the general classification and class 4 titles, Serkan Sivri-Ali Seyda Kıvrak took the second place and Class 2 first place, and Mehmet Fatih Ocak-Fuat Çiftçi took the third place. Gökhan Er-Oğuz Akkaya became the victorious team in Class 3.
At the end of the race, the awards were given to the winners at the ceremony held at Mehmet Akif Ersoy Cultural Center . Congratulating the athletes after the award ceremony, Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Hayrettin Güngör made a pearl analogy to all the athletes participating in the Turkish championship races. Güngör said in his statement, “I congratulate all the contestants and thank everyone. Turkey Offroad Championship I was very pleased that it was done in our city. It was also a pleasure for this organization to coincide with the 100th anniversary of our national struggle. If you are first you leave everyone behind, if you are a pearl you shine a light on everyone. There are first, second and third places as a result of scoring here, but I think everyone is ‘a pearl’,’ he said.
